Insulated Camo Hunting Trousers With Next Generation Waterproof Performance

Most camo hunting trousers don't perform when conditions get serious. We've heard it countless times from hunters whose gear failed them on frozen ground, across uneven terrain, or during brutal cold-weather pursuits. The 6OL insulated trousers address all those frustrations. These aren't just another pair of waterproof trousers made with standard materials. Every feature here solves actual problems that hunters encounter in the great outdoors.

Six Breakthroughs That Redefine Performance

The right hunting trousers need to solve multiple challenges simultaneously, something traditional shooting trousers designed with outdated technology simply cannot achieve. These incorporate seven genuine breakthroughs that set them apart from everything else on the market. The Dryhunt electrospun nanomembrane, precision-manufactured in South Korea, is the most air-permeable waterproof membrane available, moving moisture out whilst keeping you dry.

Matrix closed-cell insulation delivers 0.0087 W/mK thermal conductivity, outperforming Aerogel, at just 0.9mm thick and 50g per square metre, making it the lightest, most efficient insulation that's also EU REACH certified. Graphene tracks woven into the lining redistribute body heat evenly across your legs, eliminating cold spots and contrast in temperature whilst maintaining stretch.

The Termovent system manages moisture through the Dryhunt membrane, Aerospacer3D mesh, and ventilation zips, creating effective thermoregulation from 20°C to -25°C. The Cluster system positions ammunition and essential kit at your hips for early access without bulk. ERGO anatomical patterning uses a carefully considered unified system that fits men, women, and youth properly in these shooting trousers, whilst reinforced panels withstand punishment from rugged terrain, eliminating size frustrations and maintaining optimal performance.

Waterproof Protection That Actually Works

Best hunting trousers showing back view with detachable suspenders, waterproof cargo pockets, and reinforced knee panels in Photocamouflage pattern

Most waterproof hunting gear leaves you soaked from the inside out. We've engineered a four-level system that maintains genuine weather resistance. The Dryhunt nanomembrane offers 11,000mm protection whilst moving 32,000g of moisture per square metre every 24 hours. This electrospun nanofibre structure has actual air permeability, meaning moisture escapes as vapour. We've added eco-friendly C0 DWR water-repellent treatment. Every seam features breathable sealing tape. Premium YKK AquaGuard zippers seal every entry point. Whether you're dressed for early-season drizzle or full winter storms, you stay dry. The high waist gives your seat and lower back real protection when you're sitting in a hide or moving through wet vegetation.

The Bib Comfort You Want, The Flexibility You Need

Mens insulated camo hunting trousers in Photocamouflage and Ranger Green colours

Traditional bib trousers lock you into one wearing style, but we've engineered something better. These trousers feature detachable suspenders with premium YKK DS10 zipper locks that give you the legendary comfort and security of a bib when you want it, plus the freedom to wear them as standard trousers when you don't. The suspenders spread ad weight across your shoulders instead of loading everything onto your waist like traditional belts do during long days out. When you're hauling a heavy kit or sitting for hours, the bib setup keeps everything where it should be without you constantly adjusting. Simply attach the suspenders for full bib support or remove them for a streamlined profile. This versatility means one pair serves multiple hunting situations brilliantly.

Temperature Regulation for Early Season Through Deep Winter

Hunting trousers for men with adjustable suspenders, outperforming Jack PykeThe Termovent 6+ level system manages your body's microclimate from 20°C down to 25°C below zero. During early-season hunts when temperatures vary considerably, the system prevents overheating through strategic ventilation. Peak-point vents at your waist release hot air where it naturally rises. Side ventilation zippers allow airflow regulation when you're moving hard. The Matrix insulation works bidirectionally. When you're warm, it helps cool you. When temperatures drop, those closed-cell nanostructures trap heat efficiently. Graphene tracks woven into the lining synchronise heat distribution, eliminating cold spots. Optional Merino fleece backing and Heatmax7 compatibility mean you can push these into extreme conditions.

Multiple Pockets and Carrying Solutions

Our ERGO unified anatomical pattern technology means these fit properly, whether you need medium, XL, or XXL sizes. The full range accommodates different body types. Two-way stretch fabric and articulated knee construction give you proper freedom of movement, whether you're stalking, climbing, or getting into whatever position you need. The removable EVA knee pads protect your knees without adding bulk when you don't need them. The Varilock stepless front closure adjusts up or down one full size. Available in Photocamouflage and Ranger Green colours, these trousers blend naturally with terrain featuring brown bark, grey rocks, and green vegetation. Wear them on their own or match them with our 6OL AlphaShell Insulated Coat for a complete hunting suit that gives you full protection.

Silent, Lightweight, Breathable Fabric Technology

The Durasuede shell combines durability with quiet movement through a brushed woven surface that mimics soft suede whilst maintaining toughness. The fabric's stretch characteristics prevent the rustling that plagues stiff materials. You can push through thick brush without making noise that gives you away. The material keeps you completely waterproof and windproof whilst staying breathable and lightweight. This fabric makes shooting trousers that give you stealth and protection together.

Nanofiber revolution

Dryhunt® is created by spreading nanofibers through electrospinning, which creates a fibrous layer that lets air move freely through it while blocking water penetration.

Completely PFAS-free and eco-friendly, Dryhunt® sets the gold standard in performance, reliability, and sustainability.

Next-Gen Waterproof Technology

The gaps between nanofibers are 20 times smaller than the water drop which makes the membrane fully waterproof. At the same time allows an incredible 90 cubic feet of air/moisture per square foot to pass through every 24 hours—equivalent to the air volume of a spacious living room.

6+ Level Thermoregulation

When outside temperatures are low and you are moving actively, your body generates excess heat and moisture. Without proper moisture management and thermoregulation, you can overheat while moving or freeze when you stop, as moisture buildup cools your body rapidly.

Termovent® technology manages moisture and thermoregulation through six advanced technologies. Together, they create the world’s most advanced and efficient thermoregulation system, suitable for temperatures ranging from 20°C to -25°C (68°F to -13°F).
Designed for Mild, Cool and Cold weather conditions, this system delivers unparalleled comfort and performance with the option to add layers for Very Cold and Extreme Cold environments.

Silent, Durable and Stretch - Now All in One

Designed to overcome the challenge of creating a waterproof shell that balances durability and quietness. Durability demands a high-density woven structure, similar to canvas, while noise reduction benefits from a softer, low-density design like fleece. To achieve this balance, the fabric features a brushed woven surface that mimics deer suede leather, providing a premium feel while significantly reducing noise during movement. This innovative shell is almost noiseless, excelling in thorny underbrush and tough terrains while offering durability, protection, and long-lasting performance in the toughest conditions.

Comparison of three fabric types: Woven Cordura + Membrane (noisy, thorn-proof), Woven Durasuede + Dryhunt (durable, noise reducing, stretchy), and Knitted Fleece + Membrane (weak, quiet). Each has ratings for silent level and thorn proof.

Any coated or membrane-bonded fabric generates some level of noise. Knitted fleece-like fabrics are the quietest but the least durable, while woven Cordura-like fabrics are the strongest but also the noisiest.

Hillman's Durasuede is a breakthrough fabric that combines unmatched durability from its woven construction, exceptional noise reduction from its brushed acoustic surface, and superior comfort thanks to its stretch design. Backed by 20 years of textile expertise, we are proud to present the first ultimate hunting fabric, offering an unprecedented balance of durability, noise reduction, and comfort-all in one.
