Nanofiber electrospun membrane The world's most air-permeable waterproof nanoporous membrane is the most efficient at transporting body moisture outside the jacket in any condition. This dramatically improves thermoregulation and inner climate comfort and helps all insulation layers work at maximum performance. Dryhunt is a hydrophobic nano-membrane that simultaneously outperforms any membrane technology in the world regarding breathability and stretchiness, which are essential for thermoregulation and comfort. This electrospun nanomembrane technology is made and applied to the fabric with the highest precision in South Korea.
Termovent®
Multi-level thermoregulation system When outside temperatures are low, and you move actively, your body generates excess moisture. Without proper moisture management, this moisture can cause you to freeze when you stop moving, as it cools your body rapidly. Thermovent® technology manages moisture in three ways: through the Dryhunt membrane, the world's most moisture-permeable membrane; the Aerospacer3D mesh - which prevents moisture buildup where a backpack or other gear compresses the membrane; and underarm pit zips that allow for self-regulated climate control. Meanwhile, the pores are smaller than water droplets, effectively blocking water from the outside. Thanks to this cutting-edge nanotechnology, you will stay dry, warm, and free from the frustrations caused by 99.9% of conventional membranes.
99.9% of membranes out there are solid hydrophilic membranes that don’t offer direct breathability. Moisture escapes through these membranes via a condensation-like process, which is highly inefficient and fails to effectively release excess moisture. As a result, you’re left with damp or even wet, freezing sensation most of the time.
How Waterproofing Works? The water droplet is 20 times larger than the nano gaps of Dryhunt® membrane, which completely blocks water from getting through.
How breathability works? As you move, your sweat is vaporized and efficiently transported through the Dryhunt pores to the outside with unmatched efficiency.
Next-Gen Waterproof Technology
The gaps between nanofibers are 20 times smaller than the water drop which makes the membrane fully waterproof. At the same time allows an incredible 90 cubic feet of air/moisture per square foot to pass through every 24 hours—equivalent to the air volume of a spacious living room.
